Professional telephony

A telephone adapted to your organisation

Stations, switchboards and network environment: Agedis helps you prepare telephony consistent with the uses of your company.

Start from your environment.

A telephone installation must follow the organisation of the exchanges: who receives the calls, how to direct them and which posts must remain reachable? Agedis accompany you to describe these needs and prepare the appropriate solution. The project takes into account the equipment present, the connections available and the user habits, in order to define the functions actually useful to the host and the teams.

IP telephony relies on the IT environment. The network, access and equipment must therefore be looked at with the rest of the installation. An evolution may also require understanding the analog devices still present and their constraints. We prepare this connection with you, then coordinate the contacts concerned according to the chosen scope, without losing sight of the way in which calls are used on a daily basis.

Define call paths

Reception, transfer and distribution of calls are prepared from the activity. The people concerned must be able to explain the usual situations and the needs specific to their department.

Examine the existing

Posts, switchboards, internet access and associated equipment provide the starting point. Compatibilities and recovery conditions must be looked at before choosing an upgrade.

Linking voice and information technology

Telephony shares dependencies with network and systems. We help to specify the accesses and parameters necessary within the framework of the defined project.

Start with the call journey

A standard is being prepared from the organisation: who receives the calls, how to transfer them and what happens in case of absence? We identify the lines, persons, workspaces and schedules involved. A reception post, an office and a mobile employee do not have the same needs.

The proposal may examine the terminals, accounts and useful functions of the selected telephone system. Availability, operator conditions and number recovery possibilities must be checked before setting the transition. The business need thus provides a basis for the choice of equipment and subscriptions.

Connecting telephony to the company's network

IP phones depend on the network and service to which they are attached. We examine the connections, the equipment available and the connection constraints. Configuration must be coordinated with the people who administer the telephone system and Internet access.

If the project requires an evolution of wiring or installation on site, Alltech brings his field competence. Agedis prepares computer integration and the parameters entrusted to it. The roles of the operator and the provider of the solution are retained in the project organisation.

Preparing for a transition and its testing

The schedule must take into account reception activity and dependencies on the existing service provider. The operations to be planned are distinguished: preparation of stations, activation of accounts, possible recovery of numbers and verifications of usage. Each stakeholder must know their action date and the expected checks.

Tests may include incoming and outgoing calls, transfers, groups and out-of-hours behavior. The really necessary scenarios are validated with your manager. The available functions and limits are presented based on the solution and offer selected.

Support team changes

An arrival, office move or change in reception may require the adjustment of a post and its rights. The follow-up is more likely to have an understandable list of lines and interlocutors. Administration information shall remain reserved for authorised persons.

If there is a need for a link to a business software, the study specifies the interface available and the role of the supplier. Dtouch may be requested for specific adaptation after feasibility verification. We then define the functions expected, the conditions of execution and the useful tests with your users.

Your questions

Can we keep certain analog equipment?

It depends on the material and the solution chosen. It is necessary to examine the expected functions, the available interfaces and the compatibility conditions.

Can telephony be linked to intercom?

Integration can be studied according to the systems. The project must specify the functions expected and the equipment involved, with Alltech for the installation component.

Can we keep our numbers?

The possibility and terms of recovery must be checked with the operators and contracts concerned. The schedule and tests are prepared before the transition.

Can you adapt the reception to our schedules?

We identify the desired route and the functions available in the chosen solution. Tests can check reception during opening, absences and closing times.
